Analysis of Movie Trailers:
Evil Dead (2013)
We liked the idea of opening and reading a cursed book that has been around for centuries, when you open this book it unleashes a devil. We loved that it was two genres put together, paranormal and gore. This could then attract two types of audience the typical male that like gory films and the females that like paranormal. The idea of the devil that lives inside a young innocent girl that then makes her own friends torture them self to death was a great unconventional twist. The fast editing towards the end is good as it builds up the scared and panic tension.

Saw VI (2009)
As a group we really loved the Saw VI 2009 trailer. We loved the trailer because it kept us on our toes and the suspense was just ongoing through out the whole trailer making us want to watch more of the film. Although This type of horror relates to what we want do as a group we think it is a bit too gory for what we had in mind, because it can be seen as unrealistically as these types of murders would not happen in day to day life however they have done a good job and make it look realistic which unfortunately we wouldn't be able to do as well with the facilities we have. My favorite shot through the trailer is the birds eye view shot looking down on the six people who are attached to a merry go round about to die, this is quite ironic due to the fact they merry go rounds are for kids and are supposed to be fun.

The Conjuring (2013)
We love the conjuring that came out in 2013 it is unique different and even more interesting due to the fact that we have been told that it is based on true events which creeps us out even more. By different we mean most films if they were doing a child game would do a standard hide and seek however they put a twist in it by blindfolding them which means that they are not aware of the surroundings around them making them believe that it is the person they were supposed to be playing with.
